For chubby nine-year-old Ursula Garcia, playing dead seems like the easier option at EverGreen Country Club summer camp. There, she’s either bullied or ignored for being the only kid whose father is a server at the high-end club. When she’s not pretending to drown at the luxury pool, she escapes into a kung-fu dream world where she victoriously kicks ass. 

But after a run-in with Cormac, the former EverGreen ladies' golf pro and current disgruntled transmasculine chef, Ursula sees a chance to kick some ass in the real world at the kids’ golf tournament. Problem is, Chef Cormac has no interest in being her sensei and Ursula has no interest in golf.
